Airwaves Support
Airwaves builds a playlist for your flight, with songs about or from the places you fly over.
Need help or found a bug? Email support@wohlklangstudio.com. It helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version, and the flight number or route you were building.
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect Apple Music?
- Open the settings menu (the gear icon) and tap Music services.
- Tap Connect Apple Music and allow access when asked.
- Make sure Sync Library is on in the iOS Settings app, under Music. Apple Music needs it to save a playlist to your library.
Saving playlists requires an Apple Music subscription.
Can I use Spotify?
Spotify saving is in beta with a limited number of spots. To try it, open the settings menu, tap Music services, then Connect Spotify. If your account isn't on the list yet, Airwaves offers a form to join the waitlist. We use your email only to tell you when Spotify support is available, and we delete it once that notice is sent.
How do I change a song?
Swipe left on a song in your playlist:
- Trash removes the song.
- Shuffle swaps in a different pick for that part of the flight.
- Choose lets you pick the exact song from a list (Airwaves Plus).
Every new playlist includes one free Trash or Shuffle. Airwaves Plus makes editing unlimited.
What is Airwaves Plus?
A one-time purchase that supports an independent developer and unlocks genre preferences, choosing any song, unlimited editing, and requesting features. Find it in the settings menu under App settings. Already bought it on another device? Open Airwaves Plus and tap Restore purchase.
A song doesn't fit, or I know a better one
With a playlist open, open the settings menu and tap Suggest a song. Suggestions are read by a person and help improve the playlists for everyone on that route.
